The Star is the Cyberpunk 2077 ending associated with V leaving Night City with the Aldecaldos.
This ending becomes available when V accepts help from Panam Palmer and the Aldecaldos. The group attacks Arasaka through a route beneath the city, and V ultimately leaves Night City with the nomad family. The ending’s title comes from the tarot symbolism used throughout the game, where The Star represents hope, guidance, and a possible future beyond the city.
The Star does not guarantee that V is cured. The ending still reflects the Relic’s damage and the limited time remaining for V, but it presents departure and companionship as an alternative to remaining within Night City’s corporate power structure.
It is commonly confused with The Sun, another ending in which V becomes a celebrated mercenary associated with Afterlife. Temperance instead centers on Johnny Silverhand receiving control of V’s body, while The Devil follows an Arasaka-related path.
