Which cruise ship introduced Disney Cruise Line’s AquaDuck water coaster?
Answer
Disney Dream
Answer
Disney Dream
Disney Dream introduced Disney Cruise Line’s AquaDuck water coaster.
The AquaDuck is a water ride built into the upper decks of Disney Dream. It uses a transparent acrylic tube that carries riders over the side of the ship and around a large loop before returning them to the deck. The attraction was promoted as a water coaster because it uses water jets to propel riders uphill.
Disney Dream entered service in 2011 as the third ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. Its arrival added several new features, including virtual portholes in some interior staterooms and the AquaDuck attraction.
Disney Fantasy later received a similar AquaDuck installation. That means Fantasy is associated with the feature too, but Disney Dream was the ship that introduced it to the fleet.
