England is the main setting of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
The game follows Eivor, a Viking raider who leaves Norway and leads a settlement in England during the ninth century. Much of the story involves alliances with regional rulers and conflicts among Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, while Ravensthorpe serves as the settlement developed by Eivor's clan.
Norway is an important opening and later location, which is why it can be mistaken for the game's main setting. Valhalla also includes modern-day sequences and downloadable content connected with other places, but the principal open world is England. The game was released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, Stadia, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Eivor can be played with either a male or female appearance, while the character's name remains Eivor.
