Canada gave Taylor Swift’s “august” a number-19 peak on the Canadian Hot 100.
The song entered international charts after Folklore was released on July 24, 2020. Its Canadian result placed it inside the national chart’s top 20, alongside strong original-release performances in Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Canada’s number 19 should not be confused with the US Hot 100 peak of number 23. It is also different from the later number 46 peak on the Billboard Global 200. The song’s recurring August popularity added a second phase to its chart story, but the Canadian Hot 100 figure is part of its initial worldwide chart performance.
