Which certification did Taylor Swift’s “august” receive in Australia?

Taylor Swift’s “august” received a 4× Platinum certification in Australia.

The award is listed by the Australian Recording Industry Association. In addition to its certification, the song reached number 13 on Australia’s ARIA Singles Chart during its original chart run, making Australia one of the markets where it achieved a top-20 peak.

Certification and chart position are separate measures. The number 13 describes a weekly chart peak, while 4× Platinum records accumulated qualifying units under Australian certification rules. The song’s continuing popularity around August helped keep it visible internationally, but the Australian award reflects its overall consumption rather than one particular August day.
