The Farm became an international format and was adapted in countries including Norway, Denmark, Finland, Serbia, Croatia, and the United Kingdom. Local versions may use different rules, hosts, locations, or prize structures, but the central idea remains a group of people living in a farm environment under competitive conditions.
The show is sometimes confused with Survivor because both involve elimination and outdoor living. The Farm’s defining feature is its agricultural setting and the expectation that contestants perform farm work. Survivor is structured around wilderness survival, tribal organization, and location-based expeditions.
