Which composer wrote the original score for Assassin's Creed II?

Jesper Kyd wrote the original score for Assassin's Creed II.

Kyd composed the music for the 2009 game, creating a score that combines orchestral writing with choral and electronic textures. His work helped establish the musical identity of Ezio Auditore's Renaissance story, especially in sequences set in Florence and Venice.

He had already composed the score for the first Assassin's Creed and later returned for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. This made him a major musical voice across the connected Ezio trilogy.

A common mix-up is Lorne Balfe, who composed Assassin's Creed III and contributed to other entries, or Sarah Schachner, who scored Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Jesper Kyd is specifically associated with the original score of Assassin's Creed II.
