Answer
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg in 1756.
Mozart was born on 27 January 1756 in Salzburg, then part of the Archbishopric of Salzburg. He showed extraordinary musical ability as a child and toured European courts with his sister Maria Anna, known as Nannerl, under the guidance of their father Leopold Mozart.
Mozart composed in many forms, including symphonies, concertos, chamber music, sacred works, and opera. His best-known operas include The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute. He moved to Vienna in 1781 and worked there as a composer and performer.
Mozart died in Vienna on 5 December 1791, aged 35. His unfinished Requiem was completed after his death by other musicians, particularly his pupil Franz Xaver Süssmayr. He is often grouped with Haydn and Beethoven as a central figure of the Classical period.
