Which composer is credited first for Pokémon Pokopia’s music?

Hiromu Akaba is credited first among Pokémon Pokopia’s composers.

Pokopia’s music credits list Hiromu Akaba and Jieun Kim as composers. Because two composers are credited, the wording “credited first” is important: it identifies Akaba without suggesting that Kim was not involved.

The soundtrack supports a game built around restoration and peaceful community life rather than a conventional sequence of Pokémon battles. Its musical role therefore belongs to the game’s wider atmosphere of exploration, building, and companionship.

Akaba’s name can be confused with better-known composers associated with earlier Pokémon projects, including Junichi Masuda and Go Ichinose. Those musicians have important Pokémon credits, but they are not the first-listed composers for Pokopia.
