Which company published Cyberpunk 2077?

CD Projekt published Cyberpunk 2077. The Polish company is the parent organization of CD Projekt Red, the studio that developed the game.

This distinction matters because the names are closely related. CD Projekt Red is the development studio, while CD Projekt is the corporate group and publisher. In selected markets, distribution arrangements involved regional publishing partners, but CD Projekt is the game’s primary publisher.

The company was founded in Poland and became widely recognized through its work on The Witcher franchise. It also operates GOG.com, a digital storefront known for selling PC games without mandatory digital rights management in many cases. These businesses are connected under the CD Projekt group but have different functions.

Cyberpunk 2077 was marketed and released as a major in-house production after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Because promotional materials often used “CDPR” as a shorthand, readers sometimes give CD Projekt Red as the answer to a publisher question. The exact publisher name requested here is CD Projekt.
