In Cyberpunk 2077, the automated taxi service is operated by Delamain.
Delamain is both the name of the company and the artificial intelligence that manages its fleet of luxury autonomous taxis. V encounters the service near the beginning of the game and later becomes involved in the quest “Epistrophy,” which concerns several vehicles that have separated from the central system.
The Delamain storyline explores artificial intelligence, identity, and corporate control through a series of optional missions. Its vehicles are distinct from ordinary Night City traffic because they communicate directly with passengers and can navigate without a human driver. Delamain is also separate from the city’s emergency medical service, Trauma Team, and from major weapons manufacturers such as Militech and Kang Tao.
