Which company did Sara Davies found before becoming a Dragon on BBC's Dragons' Den?

Sara Davies founded Crafter's Companion before becoming a Dragon on BBC's Dragons' Den.

Davies launched Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at York University. The business began with a product designed to help crafters make envelopes more easily, then expanded into papercraft tools, supplies, and creative products sold internationally.

She joined Dragons' Den in 2019, becoming one of the programme's prominent business investors. Her appearance is sometimes confused with the histories of other Dragons who entered the programme after building careers in retail, property, or finance. Davies is specifically associated with the craft sector, while Crafter's Companion remains the company most closely linked to her entrepreneurial career.

The company's name is also sometimes mistaken for a generic description of a craft shop, but it is the proper name of Davies's business.
