Peter Jones founded Phones International Group before becoming a Dragon on the British television series Dragon's Den.

Phones International Group was a telecommunications business established by Jones in 1998. Its activities included the sale and distribution of mobile phones and related telecommunications products, placing Jones in the technology and communications sector before his television career.

Jones joined the original British Dragons' Den panel and became one of the programme's longest-serving investors. His business interests have extended across telecommunications, technology, media and retail.

Phones International Group is sometimes confused with Carphone Warehouse, another well-known British mobile-phone company. They are separate businesses. Jones's company was Phones International Group, while Carphone Warehouse was founded by Charles Dunstone and Julian Brown.
