Which city hosts South Korea’s Seoul Fashion Week?
Answer
Seoul
Answer
Seoul
Seoul hosts South Korea’s Seoul Fashion Week.
The event is the country’s principal international fashion-week platform and presents Korean designers through runway shows, presentations and industry programs. It has helped connect South Korea’s fashion industry with international buyers, journalists and retailers.
Seoul Fashion Week is strongly associated with Dongdaemun Design Plaza, usually abbreviated DDP, a landmark cultural and design complex in the city. Since 2014, the event has been held at DDP, making the venue an important part of its modern identity.
The event should not be confused with fashion activity in Busan, Incheon or Daegu. Those cities have their own creative and commercial scenes, but Seoul is the national capital and the home of the internationally recognized Seoul Fashion Week calendar. The week also reflects Seoul’s wider influence in popular culture, design, cosmetics and streetwear.
