Which character is played by Dacre Montgomery in "Stranger Things"?

Dacre Montgomery plays Billy Hargrove in “Stranger Things.” Billy is introduced in the second season as Max Mayfield’s older stepbrother and quickly becomes one of Hawkins’ most volatile teenagers.

Billy’s aggressive behavior, reckless driving, and hostility toward Max are connected to his abusive relationship with his father. Although he begins as a human antagonist, his story becomes central to the supernatural plot in season three, when the Mind Flayer uses him as its first major host in Hawkins.

Montgomery first appeared as Billy in season 2, which premiered in 2017, and returned for season 3. Billy also appears in season 4 through Max’s visions and memories. A common mix-up is Montgomery’s earlier role as Jason Scott, the Red Ranger, in the 2017 “Power Rangers” film.
