Which character is a Tangrowth in Pokémon Pokopia’s story?

Professor Tangrowth is the Tangrowth character in Pokémon Pokopia’s story.

After Ditto enters the abandoned world, it meets Professor Tangrowth. The character has taken on the role of an environmental researcher, studying the damaged landscape and trying to understand why humans and Pokémon disappeared.

Professor Tangrowth helps frame the game’s rebuilding activities as part of a larger mystery. Restoring habitats is not only a creative feature; it also supports the investigation into the world’s collapse and the disappearance of its former inhabitants.

The name can be confused with the game’s other special Pokémon characters. Peakychu is a Pikachu who has lost the ability to generate electricity, while Mosslax is a Snorlax covered with moss and plants. Professor Tangrowth is specifically the investigating Tangrowth.
