Which character first enters Narnia through the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis's series?

The story behind the answer

Lucy Pevensie is the first character in The Chronicles of Narnia to enter Narnia through the wardrobe. She discovers the snowy land while hiding in the wardrobe at the country house of Professor Kirke.

Lucy meets the faun Mr. Tumnus soon after arriving. When she returns to the real world, her siblings initially doubt her account. Edmund later enters Narnia as well, and Peter and Susan follow after the children investigate the wardrobe together.

Lucy is the youngest of the four Pevensie siblings and serves as the reader’s earliest guide to Narnia. The Magician’s Nephew, published later, explains the wardrobe’s origins, but it does not change Lucy’s role in the opening story. Lucy’s first discovery occurs in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
