John Leguizamo voiced Gor Koresh in Season 2 of The Mandalorian.

Koresh appears in “Chapter 9: The Marshal,” the season premiere. He is an Abyssin gangster who runs a ring fight on Tatooine and has information about possible Mandalorian sightings. Din Djarin visits him while searching for other Mandalorians who might help him reunite Grogu with his people.

The meeting quickly turns hostile. Koresh orders his henchmen to ambush the Mandalorian and steal his beskar armor, but Din defeats them. After extracting information about a Mandalorian warrior on Tatooine, Din leaves Koresh hanging from a lamppost as nocturnal creatures approach. The character is physically performed by John Rosengrant, while Leguizamo supplies the voice.

A common mix-up is confusing Koresh with the mercenary crew from Season 1’s “Chapter 6: The Prisoner.” Ranzar Malk organized that prison-break mission, while Burg and Qin were members of the crew. Koresh is a separate Season 2 character.
