Peter Jones is the only original Dragon to have appeared in every series of the British Dragons' Den.
Jones joined the programme at its launch in 2005 and remained a Dragon throughout the series. His continuing presence distinguishes him from several other original investors, including Duncan Bannatyne and Rachel Elnaugh, who later left the regular panel.
He is a British entrepreneur whose business interests have included telecommunications, technology, media and leisure. On the programme, he is known for examining business figures, ownership percentages and the practical route to growth.
The claim concerns the regular British series, not every international version of Dragons' Den or every guest investor. It also refers to original Dragons who began with the programme, rather than later investors who joined after the first series.
