Peter Jones has been a Dragon on the UK television series Dragon's Den since its first series.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and businessman who joined the original investor panel when the BBC series began in 2005. He became closely associated with the programme through his tall stature, technology interests and willingness to discuss valuation, ownership and business strategy with applicants.
The wording “since its first series” is important: several other well-known Dragons joined later or appeared for only part of the programme’s run. Theo Paphitis was an original investor but left after the early series, while Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett joined in later eras.
