Which British fashion designer joined the Dragon's Den investment panel in 2013?

The story behind the answer

Kelly Hoppen joined the Dragon's Den investment panel in 2013.

Hoppen is a British interior and product designer known for a design style built around clean lines, neutral colours and a blend of East and West influences. Her work has included residential interiors, hotels, aircraft interiors and product collaborations.

She joined Dragon's Den for its 11th series, broadcast in 2013. Her professional background gave the panel a different perspective from investors primarily known for retail, technology or finance. She assessed pitches with particular interest in design, branding and the way a product might be presented to customers.

Hoppen is sometimes mistaken for a long-serving original dragon because she became a prominent face of the programme. She was not part of the 2005 launch panel. She left the show after series 17, having served several series as an investor.
