Which British entrepreneur replaced James Caan on Dragon's Den in 2011?

The story behind the answer

Hilary Devey replaced James Caan on the British television programme Dragon's Den in 2011.

Devey was a businesswoman best known for founding Pall-Ex, a palletised freight distribution network. The company connected regional distribution centres so freight could be moved efficiently through a shared network, giving Devey substantial experience in logistics before her television career.

She joined Dragon's Den as Caan's replacement and brought a background in transport and distribution to the panel. Her tenure was relatively short compared with some of the programme's longest-serving Dragons, and she was later replaced by Kelly Hoppen.

The sequence is often muddled because several panel changes occurred within a few years. James Caan left before Devey joined; Devey then left before Hoppen became an investor. These are separate appointments, not alternative names for the same Dragon.
