Peter Jones has been a Dragon on every series of the British Dragon's Den.
Jones is an English entrepreneur and businessman whose interests have included mobile phones, consumer technology, leisure and property. He joined the original Dragon's Den panel when the BBC series began in 2005 and remained the programme's longest-serving original investor.
His continuity is notable because the other members of the panel have changed over time. Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis and Rachel Elnaugh were among the early Dragons, while later lineups included Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies. Jones therefore provides a link between the programme's first series and its later seasons.
Peter Jones is also associated with the BBC's American version of the format, appearing as a guest investor on Shark Tank. His Dragon's Den role is sometimes confused with the presenter role: Evan Davis hosted the original British programme, while Jones was one of the investors making or rejecting offers.
