Which British driver was WRC drivers' champion in 1995?

Colin McRae was the British driver who won the WRC drivers’ championship in 1995.

McRae secured the title in a Subaru Impreza 555 during the 1995 season, becoming the first British driver to win the World Rally Championship drivers’ crown. His aggressive, spectacular style made him one of rallying’s most recognizable champions.

The 1995 championship was unusually compressed, with only eight rallies. McRae finished ahead of Subaru teammate Carlos Sainz, while Subaru also won the manufacturers’ championship. The title was McRae’s only WRC drivers’ championship.
