Which British designer joined Dragon's Den as an investor in 2013?

The story behind the answer

Kelly Hoppen joined Dragon's Den as an investor on the British television series in 2013.

Hoppen is an interior designer whose career includes residential, commercial and hospitality projects. She became known for a design style built around clean lines, neutral colours and a combination of contemporary and traditional elements.

Her appointment added a prominent design and luxury-business perspective to the investor panel. She joined after the departure of Hilary Devey and appeared alongside established dragons including Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden.

Hoppen is sometimes confused with later arrivals because Dragon's Den changed several panel members during the 2010s. Nick Jenkins and Sarah Willingham joined in 2015, while Touker Suleyman also became part of the panel during that period. Hoppen's Dragon's Den tenure ended after the 2014 series.
