Kelly Hoppen became a Dragon on the UK television programme Dragon's Den for series 11.
Kelly Hoppen is a British interior designer known for a distinctive style built around clean lines, neutral colours and understated luxury. Her design career preceded her television investment role, giving her expertise in interiors, branding, premium products and visual presentation.
She joined Dragon's Den during its eleventh series, adding a different professional background to a panel otherwise associated with retail, technology, leisure and finance. Her time on the programme was limited compared with some of the show's longest-serving Dragons, which can make her series number easy to misremember.
She is not the same person as Mary Portas, another well-known British retail and design personality. Anita Roddick and Cath Kidston are also major names in British consumer businesses, but none of those three was the Dragon who joined for series 11.
