Glasgow has been Dragon's Den's main filming location since the programme moved to BBC Scotland.
The series is associated with the BBC's Pacific Quay complex in Glasgow, where the studio production has been based for many years. Pacific Quay is a major broadcasting and media site beside the River Clyde and is home to BBC Scotland facilities. The studio setting gives the programme its familiar entrance, pitch area and investor panel.
Manchester is a common alternative answer because earlier episodes were filmed at Granada Studios in the city. That earlier association is why some viewers remember Manchester as the show's location. Glasgow, however, is the later and better-known base for the BBC version, while Edinburgh is Scotland's capital but not the programme's principal Dragon's Den studio city.
