Which Beyoncé film portrays her as Deena Jones in a musical trio?

Dreamgirls portrays Beyoncé as Deena Jones in a musical trio.

The 2006 film, directed by Bill Condon, is adapted from the 1981 Broadway musical of the same name. It follows the fictional singing group the Dreams as they move from amateur performances toward mainstream success. Beyoncé plays Deena Jones, alongside Jennifer Hudson as Effie White and Anika Noni Rose as Lorrell Robinson.

Dreamgirls is inspired in part by the history of Motown and the Supremes, but its characters and story are fictionalized rather than a direct biography. Beyoncé recorded songs for the film, including “Listen,” which became a major solo showcase. Cadillac Records, Obsessed, and The Fighting Temptations are other films connected with Beyoncé, but none casts her as Deena Jones.
