Which BBC Dragon's Den investor founded the recruitment company Hamilton Bradshaw?

The story behind the answer

James Caan founded the private-equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw and became a Dragon on BBC Dragon's Den.

Hamilton Bradshaw was established by Caan in 2003 as an investment business focused particularly on recruitment and human-capital companies. Before that, he had built and sold recruitment businesses, giving him a specialist background in staffing and executive search.

Caan joined Dragon's Den as an investor in 2007 and remained on the programme for two series. His investment style reflected his experience in recruitment, private equity and business acquisitions rather than consumer-product manufacturing.

Hamilton Bradshaw is sometimes mistaken for a recruitment agency itself. It is principally an investment firm, while Caan's earlier businesses included recruitment companies. He is also distinct from Peter Jones, whose best-known commercial interests include telecommunications, retail and consumer technology.
