Which BBC Dragon's Den investor co-founded Social Chain?
Answer
Steven Bartlett
Answer
Steven Bartlett
Steven Bartlett co-founded Social Chain, the social-media marketing agency, before joining BBC's Dragon's Den.
Bartlett established Social Chain in 2014 with Dominic McGregor. The company developed campaigns for major brands by using online communities, social platforms and creator-led communication. Its growth made Bartlett a prominent figure in the European technology and marketing sectors.
He joined Dragon's Den as an investor in 2021. At 29, he became the youngest Dragon in the programme's history. His investing interests have included technology, consumer products and digitally focused businesses.
Social Chain is sometimes confused with Bartlett's podcast and publishing work, but the agency was the business that first made his name. His later projects include The Diary of a CEO, which is separate from Social Chain.
