The British television programme Dragons' Den originally broadcast on BBC Two.
The programme is a business reality series in which entrepreneurs present companies and products to wealthy investors. BBC Two became its home when the British version launched, placing it within the channel's established factual-entertainment and reality schedule.
The series later gained a broader audience while remaining associated with the BBC. Its format was adapted from the Japanese programme Money Tigers, but the British production developed its own panel, presentation style and business terminology.
BBC One, BBC Three and BBC Four are all BBC channels, but they were not the original channel for Dragons' Den. This distinction matters because BBC Two is the programme's longstanding broadcast identity, even though individual episodes and related material may also be available through BBC digital services.
