BBC Two has broadcast the UK programme Dragon's Den since its 2005 launch.
The channel is known for factual, documentary, arts and specialist programming, making it a natural home for a series combining entrepreneurship with entertainment. Dragon's Den places business presentations and investor negotiations at the centre of each episode.
The programme is produced for the BBC and has remained strongly associated with BBC Two even as the panel and production details have changed. Its longevity has also made the channel part of the show's identity in the United Kingdom.
Viewers sometimes confuse the broadcaster with ITV because many British reality and competition series appear there. The American version, Shark Tank, is likewise a separate production with a different title, network history and investor panel.
