Which award did Noah Wyle win for The Pitt at the 2026 Golden Globes?
Answer
Best Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama
Noah Wyle won Best Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama for The Pitt at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Wyle plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch in The Pitt, a medical drama set in the emergency department of a Pittsburgh hospital. The series presents the pressures faced by doctors, nurses, and patients during demanding hospital shifts.
The award belongs to the television drama acting category, which is separate from the musical-or-comedy category and from limited-series acting awards. Wyle’s victory matched The Pitt’s broader success at the ceremony, where it won Best Television Series – Drama.
Viewers may associate Wyle with his earlier role as John Carter on ER, another prominent medical television drama. His 2026 Golden Globe recognized a different emergency-room character and a newer series.
