Which Assassin's Creed title centers on Shay Cormac, an Assassin who becomes a Templar?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Rogue centers on Shay Cormac, an Assassin who becomes a Templar.

Released in 2014, Rogue begins with Shay as a member of the Colonial Brotherhood during the Seven Years' War. After a disastrous mission and a crisis of faith, he turns against his former allies and joins the Templars, hunting Assassins from the opposing side.

The game is set mainly in the North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley, and New York. Its naval gameplay builds on Black Flag but adds cold-water hazards, including icy environments and the need to manage a ship in northern seas.

Rogue is closely connected to the Kenway-era storyline and takes place before Unity. Players sometimes confuse Shay with Haytham Kenway because both characters become Templars, but Shay is a separate protagonist whose defection drives Rogue's central premise.
