Which Assassin's Creed protagonist is the main character of the Ezio trilogy?

Ezio Auditore da Firenze is the main character of Assassin's Creed's Ezio trilogy.

His story spans Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The trilogy follows him from a young Florentine nobleman who joins the Assassins into an experienced Mentor leading the Brotherhood.

Ezio's adventures move across Renaissance Italy and later to Constantinople. His family, especially his father Giovanni and sister Claudia, helps establish the personal motives behind his early transformation into an Assassin.

The trilogy is sometimes treated as three unrelated games because each has a different subtitle, but the same protagonist connects them. Ezio also appears in short films and later franchise material, making him one of the series' most recognizable characters.
