Ezio Auditore is the Assassin's Creed protagonist known as an Italian Renaissance master assassin.
Ezio is the central character of Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations. His story begins in Florence in 1476, when a conspiracy destroys his family and leads him into the Assassin Brotherhood. Across the trilogy, he grows from a young nobleman into a senior Mentor.
His adventures take him through Renaissance Italy, including Florence, Venice, Rome, and the surrounding countryside. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood focuses especially on his campaign against the Borgia family in Rome, while Revelations follows his later journey to Constantinople.
Players sometimes associate Ezio only with Assassin's Creed II, but his complete main-game arc spans three titles. He also appears in short films and other franchise material, making him one of the most extensively developed protagonists in the series.
