Which Assassin's Creed protagonist is a member of the Mohawk Kanien'kehá:ka people?

The story behind the answer

Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, is a member of the Mohawk Kanien'kehá:ka people in Assassin's Creed III.

He is born to Kaniehtí:io, a Kanien'kehá:ka woman, and Haytham Kenway, an English Templar. Ratonhnhaké:ton grows up in the Kanien'kehá:ka village of Kanatahséton before taking the name Connor to communicate more easily with colonial society.

His identity shapes the game's account of the American Revolution. He works with the Assassin Brotherhood while trying to protect his community, and his personal goals do not always align neatly with either the revolutionaries or the colonial authorities.

The name Connor is therefore not his birth name but the name he adopts later. The spelling Ratonhnhaké:ton is specific to this character, while Altaïr, Arno, and Basim are protagonists from other historical periods and regions.
