Which Assassin's Creed game was the first to introduce the playable character Evie Frye?
Answer
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Answer
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Assassin's Creed Syndicate was the first game to introduce the playable character Evie Frye.
Evie is one of the two principal protagonists of Syndicate, sharing the campaign with her twin brother Jacob Frye. The pair travel to London in 1868 and build an Assassin presence while opposing Templar control during the Industrial Revolution. Evie is characterized as a methodical investigator and stealth-focused Assassin.
Syndicate lets players switch between Evie and Jacob for much of the main campaign, although some missions are assigned to a specific sibling. Their different skills and personalities support different approaches to the same historical setting. Evie's story also continues in the downloadable expansion Jack the Ripper.
Evie does not appear as a playable protagonist in Unity, which centers on Arno Dorian, or in Rogue, which centers on Shay Cormac. Liberation features Aveline de Grandpré, another notable female Assassin, but it predates Evie's debut and follows a different eighteenth-century story.
