Which Assassin's Creed game was released in 2010 as the direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II?
Answer
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Answer
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was released in 2010 as the direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II. It continues Ezio Auditore's story and places most of the historical campaign in Renaissance Rome.
Ezio fights the Borgia family, especially Cesare Borgia, while rebuilding the Assassin Brotherhood in the city. A major new feature lets him recruit and train Assassin allies, then call on them during missions. Brotherhood also introduced a competitive multiplayer mode to the main series.
The title is often confused with Revelations because both continue Ezio's life. Revelations followed in 2011 and is set mainly in Constantinople, while Brotherhood focuses on Rome and the struggle against the Borgia-controlled Papal States.
