Which Assassin's Creed game stars Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who joins the Templars?
Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Assassin's Creed Rogue stars Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who joins the Templars.
Shay begins the story as a member of the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins. After a mission connected to an Isu precursor site causes a devastating earthquake in Lisbon, he becomes disillusioned with the Brotherhood and turns against it. He eventually works with the Templars.
Rogue was released in 2014 and is set mainly in the North Atlantic, the River Valley, and New York during the Seven Years' War. Its central premise reverses the usual player perspective: Shay hunts former Assassin allies and confronts the assumptions that normally frame the series' conflict.
Shay is sometimes confused with Arno Dorian, the protagonist of Unity, which also launched in 2014. Rogue's protagonist is distinctive because he changes allegiance and becomes a Templar rather than remaining an Assassin.
