Which Assassin's Creed game is set largely in the Caribbean Golden Age of Piracy?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the Assassin's Creed game set largely in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy.

Released in 2013, Black Flag follows Edward Kenway, a Welsh privateer who becomes involved with the Assassin–Templar conflict. Much of the game takes place across a Caribbean open world, including Havana, Nassau, and Kingston.

The game is especially known for naval exploration and ship combat. Edward commands the Jackdaw, upgrading it while raiding vessels, hunting sea creatures, and visiting islands. Historical pirates such as Blackbeard, Calico Jack, and Anne Bonny also appear in the story.

Black Flag is sometimes confused with Assassin's Creed Rogue because Rogue also emphasizes ships and Atlantic seafaring. Rogue, however, follows Shay Cormac and focuses on his change from Assassin to Templar.
