Assassin’s Creed Valhalla introduced the Viking warrior Eivor.

Released in 2020, Valhalla follows Eivor, a Norse raider who leaves Norway and establishes a settlement in ninth-century England. The story combines Viking expansion, Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, and the continuing conflict between the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients.

Eivor can be played with a male or female appearance, and the game presents the character’s name as Eivor Varinsdottir. The player’s choices influence parts of the story, but Eivor remains the central protagonist in every version.

Valhalla is not the same as Odyssey, whose main playable characters are Kassandra or Alexios. It also differs from Origins, which follows Bayek of Siwa in Ptolemaic Egypt. Valhalla’s historical world centers on Norway and England, with Ravensthorpe serving as Eivor’s settlement in England.
