Which Assassin's Creed game introduced the protagonist Kassandra?
Answer
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Answer
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed Odyssey introduced the protagonist Kassandra.
Released in 2018, Odyssey follows Kassandra, a mercenary from the Greek island of Kephallonia. Players can also choose Alexios as the playable character, but Ubisoft identifies Kassandra as the canon protagonist in the broader series continuity.
The game is set in 431 BCE during the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta. Its large open world includes mainland Greece and many Aegean islands, with branching dialogue, quests, romances, and multiple endings expanding the role-playing format.
Odyssey follows Assassin's Creed Origins chronologically, but it does not portray the historical formation of the Hidden Ones. Its story takes place centuries earlier and centers on the Isu artifact called the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus. Kassandra is therefore distinct from Bayek of Origins and Eivor of Valhalla.
