Which Assassin's Creed game introduced the playable twin siblings Jacob and Evie Frye?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Syndicate introduced the playable twin siblings Jacob and Evie Frye.

Set in London during the Industrial Revolution, Syndicate follows Jacob and Evie as they challenge Templar influence and criminal gangs. Jacob is generally associated with direct combat and gang leadership, while Evie specializes more heavily in stealth and searching for Pieces of Eden. Players can switch between the twins during much of the campaign, although some missions restrict the character choice.

The Frye twins distinguish Syndicate from earlier games that centered on one principal historical Assassin. The game also introduced the grappling hook, horse-drawn carriages, and the Rooks gang as important parts of London traversal and control. Assassin's Creed Unity, released before Syndicate, stars Arno Dorian and is set in revolutionary Paris rather than Victorian London.
