Which Assassin's Creed game introduced the playable protagonist Evie Frye?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Syndicate introduced the playable protagonist Evie Frye.

Evie Frye is one of the game's two main protagonists, alongside her twin brother Jacob Frye. The pair operate in London during the Industrial Revolution and work to undermine Templar control over the city.

Evie is portrayed as a methodical Assassin with a strong interest in precursor artifacts and historical knowledge. Jacob is generally more impulsive and focuses on building a criminal network, so the game gives the twins different narrative emphases and abilities.

Syndicate is distinct from Unity, which stars Arno Dorian in revolutionary Paris. It is also distinct from Rogue, whose central character is Shay Cormac. Evie's introduction was significant because she became one of the franchise's first major dual playable protagonists in a mainline title.
