Which Assassin's Creed game introduced the playable character Shao Jun?
Answer
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China
Answer
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China introduced the playable character Shao Jun.
The side-scrolling action game follows Shao Jun, an Assassin returning to China in 1526. She seeks to rebuild the Chinese Brotherhood after the Eight Tigers, a powerful faction within the Ming court, has helped destroy it.
China is the first entry in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy. It uses stylized 2.5D presentation rather than the fully three-dimensional open worlds of the main series, and its gameplay focuses on stealth, platforming, and carefully planned attacks.
The story also connects Shao Jun to Ezio Auditore, who appears in the animated short film Assassin's Creed Embers. China should not be confused with Chronicles: India or Chronicles: Russia, which feature different protagonists and historical settings.
