Which Assassin's Creed game follows Arno Dorian during the French Revolution?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Unity follows Arno Dorian during the French Revolution.

Arno is drawn into the Assassin Brotherhood after the death of his adoptive father, François de la Serre. His personal investigation becomes linked to the political upheaval and factional conflict of revolutionary France. The story is set primarily in Paris, where crowds, landmarks, and changing political conditions shape the game world.

Unity was released in 2014 and was built around cooperative multiplayer missions for up to four players. It also introduced a detailed customization system for Arno's weapons, clothing, and skills. Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Bastille area, and the Palace of Versailles are among the recognizable locations represented.

The title “Unity” refers to the game's cooperative emphasis and its themes of alliance and division. It should not be confused with Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which follows Jacob and Evie Frye in Victorian London several decades later.
