Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Assassin's Creed Rogue features the first appearance of the playable character Shay Cormac.
Released in 2014, Rogue follows Shay Patrick Cormac, an Irish-born Assassin who becomes disillusioned with the Brotherhood after a disastrous mission. He eventually joins the Templar Order and hunts former allies, making him one of the series' most prominent protagonists to fight from the Templar side.
The game is set during the Seven Years' War in the mid-eighteenth century. Its North Atlantic and river-valley locations connect it to both Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Shay's ship, the Morrigan, is used for exploration and naval combat in colder waters.
Shay later appears in the modern-day material of other Assassin's Creed releases, but Rogue is his debut and the only main series game centered on his playable story. He is distinct from Haytham Kenway, another Templar-aligned character in the franchise.
