Which Assassin's Creed game features Kassandra as a possible player character?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Odyssey features Kassandra as a possible player character.

Odyssey lets the player choose between Kassandra and her brother Alexios at the beginning of the story. Kassandra is a mercenary and the descendant of King Leonidas I. Her adventure takes place in the Greek world during the Peloponnesian War, beginning in 431 BCE.

The game includes major locations across ancient Greece, such as Athens, Sparta, and numerous islands. It combines family drama, political conflict, naval travel, role-playing choices, and encounters with historical figures. Kassandra's story also connects to the wider series through the Isu and the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus.

Kassandra is not simply the name of a non-player character: she is one of the two selectable protagonists. Later series entries use different central characters, including Eivor in Valhalla and Basim in Mirage. Odyssey is therefore the specific title associated with Kassandra and Alexios as player options.
