Which Assassin's Creed character is the first person shown using a Hidden Blade in the series' chronological history?

The story behind the answer

Darius is the first person shown using a Hidden Blade in Assassin's Creed's chronological history.

Darius, whose historical name is Artabanus, appears in the Legacy of the First Blade expansion for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The expansion is set in the fifth century BCE, earlier than the mainline games' stories about Bayek, Altaïr, and Ezio. Darius uses the weapon to assassinate Xerxes I of Persia, making him the earliest known wielder shown in the series' narrative chronology.

The Hidden Blade is closely associated with the Assassin Brotherhood, but Darius predates the formal creation of that organization. He is an independent opponent of tyranny whose actions and ideas help establish themes later connected with the Assassin tradition. The game therefore presents the weapon's history as older than the Brotherhood itself.

A common mistake is answering Bayek, because Origins depicts the formation of the Hidden Ones and gives the weapon major importance. Bayek is earlier than Altaïr but later than Darius. Kassandra is also connected to the expansion's events, yet Darius is the character who is shown using the blade in that early historical period.
